Dr. Paola Grosso new director Graduate School of Informatics

Paola Grosso has succeeded Andy Pimentel as director of the Graduate School of Informatics from 1 June. Paola about her new position: ‘We have very successful Master’s programmes with enthusiastic lecturers and motivated students.

Dr. Zhiming Zhao receives EU funding for a research project on digital pathology

Dr. Zhiming Zhao from the Multiscale Networked Systems Lab (MNS) will join the CLoud ARtificial Intelligence For pathologY (CLARIFY) and will lead the work package of Cloud oriented algorithms for data management.

Dr. Grosso receives funding NWO/eScience Center

Dr. Paola Grosso, System and Network Engineering Lab (UvA), has been awarded funding from NWO/eScienceCenter for her project SecConNet – Smart, secure container networks for trusted Big Data Sharing. Members of project SecConNet study novel container network architectures.
